Professor-in-Residence at UNLV
Dr. Hassan Ziada joined UNLV School of Dental Medicine in January of 2019, and currently teaches periodontics and implant dentistry. He is also involved with preclinical teaching and training in all aspects of restorative dentistry, prosthodontics and comprehensive dental care. Dr. Ziada developed an extensive career in education, research, and service, and his contribution to dental education has been in various regions of the world, with a track record of publication in dental research. He worked full-time in clinical and dental education at preclinical, clinical and postgraduate education levels since his graduation in 1983, where he worked in Academic Dentistry across four continents. He began his academic career working at the University of Khartoum in Sudan and then moved to the Queen's University of Belfast, where he obtained his PhD in 1991, at the Department of Restorative Dentistry, School of Clinical Dentistry.
