Dr. Ehsan Abdalla work includes serving as a community liaison for Community Based Epidemiological Research to address HIV/AIDS in the Black Belt Counties (BBC) of Alabama working with various health departments e.g. Medical AIDS Outreach (MAO) of Montgomery, Alabama, Macon County Health Department (MCHD), Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH). She collected clinical data and performed quality control measures for input into laboratory databases. She also performed a Risk Analysis of chronic and infectious diseases and food safety to assess the dynamics and the effect of control strategies. Dr. Abdalla has strong expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), statistical analysis for epidemiologic survey investigations, and database development for risk assessment projects.
