Dr. AbdelRazig's broad areas of research interests include: Construction engineering and management, sustainability and green construction and infrastructure; building information modeling (BIM); computer applications in construction; and simulation, optimization, and modeling of transportation and infrastructure systems. He also has a genuine interest in the application of computer and information technology to the construction and civil engineering systems. He believes that the civil engineering profession and especially the construction industry have yet to take full advantage of the rapid developments in information technology. Dr. AbdelRazig is also interested in sustainability and resiliency of civil engineering systems research.
