Dr. Yasir Hamad graduated from the University of Juba, College of Medicine, Sudan in 2004. He earned the Resident of the Year Award at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore in 2010, completing his internal medicine residency there the following year. He completed an infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2016. Dr. Hamad is board-certified in both internal medicine and infectious diseases. He is currently an assistant professor of medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
